Antioxidant and Phytonutrient Rich, Organic, Natural and Delicious Pizza!!!

Antioxidant and Phytonutrient Rich, Organic, Natural and Delicious Pizza!!

Bio Yummy Pizza minus the Pepperoni or Italian Sausage

This Pizza has been a huge hit this summer at our place! I used Organic Sprouted Whole Grain Tortillas for the crust, so no more thick, gluey crust that makes you feel bloated!
So easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
  • Ezekiel 4:9 : Organic sprouted whole grain tortillas
  • Pesto sauce
  • Cheese: Organic Meadow Mozzarella, Swiss or cheddar shredded * raw cheese is good as well
  • Veggies: zucchini, carrots, peppers, onion, mushrooms, asparagus, finely chopped Swiss chard
  • Fresh herbs of your choice – basil, oregano, parsley, and chives
Pesto Sauce:
  • 2 cups basil leaves (stems removed), tightly packed
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic (2 cloves)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 raw pine nuts
Place the basil, olive oil, garlic, and salt in a food processor fitted with the S blade and process until the basil is chopped. Add the pine nuts and process until smooth. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Pesto will keep for five days.
Preparing the Pizzas
Place 4 tortillas on the counter, spread evenly with pesto sauce

Add cheese: in moderation – no need to add a lot, but enough to cover the tortilla
Add veggies and top with your favorite herbs

*No need for Pepperoni or Italian sausage! You’ll love it just like this!
Preheat the oven to 450°F for at least 30 minutes
Bake pizza one at a time until the crust is browned and the cheese is golden, about 10-15 minutes. If you want, toward the end of the cooking time you can sprinkle on a little more cheese.
