HOW TO BOOST YOUR ENERGY BY PROPER FOOD COMBINING

Your body is a food processing center.
The way our food is prepared by chewing and saliva is very influential in the process of digestion and the release of fiber and indigestible material of the small intestine to the colon. The better the chewing, the better the digestive glands and liver will perform.

Once the food reaches the stomach, it is completely isolated from any other part of the digestive system, except during seconds when the pyloric valve opens to allow the passage of an interval minimum amount of liquid bolus. This allows stomach juices to act on the specific type of chemical that make up the ingested food.

Your stomach is flat until you eat. When you eat, every bite Waits its turn to be processed by digestive juices.

Carbohydrates pass from the stomach quickly after being swallowed and require only half the time required for proteínas to be completely digested. However fats, when taken alone remain in the stomach for a long time and when combined with other foods, they stay even longer.

Due to the very nature of our digestive system and the food we eat, it is vital to understand how to combine foods so that the body can use them efficiently to maintain good health and to maintain a healthy weight.

In chemistry, water and oil do not mix, nor acids with alkaline substances. They are totally incompatible. The same applies to the food we eat.

When we prepare our food, each food is a chemical combination of elements, atoms and molecules, that is the plan of nature.

When these foods are raw fruits and vegetables, its components are vital, alive and can be widely combined.
Any mixture that has not been processed can be ingested combined  its components comine naturally and the result is beneficial for the body.
When food is cooked or processed, the components have been  devitalized and this applies to all foods processed or cooked without exception.

Your stomach is well organized, unless you give the wrong food!
Chemically, carbohydrates are sugars, starches and grains, are alkaline substances and require alkaline medium in the stomach for a correct and complete digestion.
Instead, proteins are acid substances that require acid from digestive juices.

When a carbohydrate enters the stomach receives a disinfectant bath of hydrochloric acid because the next step is the small intestine and everything getting there must be free of any infection factor.

When a protein enters the stomach it is also disinfected by HCl, after which the pepsin which is the digestive juice of the protein is produced by glands in the stomach and digestion of protein begins.

Do not eat a Mass to Confuse Your Stomach!
The sequence of these laws natural acid-alkaline chemical is interrupted when we eat concentrated food. If you eat alkaline foods such as potatoes, with an acidic food such as chicken, the chicken will not be digested.
The digestion of meat is interrupted by the presence of carbohydrates. The result of this incompatibility is  carbohydrate fermentation and putrefaction of proteins.

The Road to Constipation is paved with proteins and Carbohydrates.
To make things worse, if the protein is eaten before carbs, the passage of carbohydrates out of the stomach will be delayed. When a carbohydrate and a “ processed”protein are eaten together, this combination is  first treated by proteína enzymes in the upper stomach and the carbohydrate is then "contaminated”. Now when the bolus reaches the mid-stomach there  is even more acidification by the hydrochloric acid. The result of this delay causes the carbohydrate to remains in the stomach longer than it takes to be digested by enzymes. This results in a fermentation process Turing the absorption and elimination process. This causes problems in overall “elimination” in people.

Bad Combinations:
Bread with eggs or meat of any kind
Coffee with sugar
Burgers and refreshments
Meat and potatoes and bisquets
Pie or cake with coffee or tea
Soups containing flour of any kind (to thicken) or beef broth with chunks of meat.

Fruits and Vegetables, the best combinations of Nature:
With few exceptions I have found that raw fruits and vegetables are perfectly compatible when eaten together, whether separate or mixed in a  salad or in  a meal.

The melons of any kind should be eaten alone, being the only food in your meal. This is because the melons take a long time to digest.

If you have an alkaline stomach:
Fruits should only be eaten ripe as the fruit sugars are not  fully formed and therefore have an acid reaction in the system. Ripe fruit, with an apparent sour taste, has an alkaline reaction in the body so it will interfere with the natural digestión process.
The excessive consumption of fruit will always have an acid reaction on the system.

If you have a stomach acid:
When eating any refined sugar, flour and products with fruit (except bananas, dates, figs or raisins) , the sugars will be fermented in the digestive tract causing an acidic condition in the stomach.
